About the FMA Alliance

Our purpose is to work in partnership with the Florida Medical Association to promote health education, to identify and address health-care needs and issues, to encourage involvement in legislative education and to support health-related charitable endeavors.

Male and female spouses of physicians provide unparalleled level of support to the physician, the family and the community.

The members of the Florida Medical Association Alliance focus on and support the role of the physician’s spouse and family as allies and partners in the profession of medicine.

For the past 80 years, physicians’ spouses, working together through the Alliance, have strengthened medicine’s voice through improved community health, advocacy for patients, and support of business and government decisions which foster quality medical care.
