Nominations

County Medical Society Alliances are asked to submit nominations for the FMAA Nominating Committee and AMAA Alternate Delegate seats. During the FMAA House of Delegates, August 2nd, voting will take place for five (5) Nominating Committee seats and five (5) AMAA Alternate Delegates seats. PLEASE NOTE: Correction of AMAA Alternate Delegate seats available, as announced in a previous email, from nine (9) to five (5).

Nominations MUST be submitted no later than Friday, May 30, 2008. Nominees must be active members of the Florida Medical Association Alliance. Any nominations presented after the deadline will not be accepted.

Awards

County Medical Society Alliances are requested to submit nominations for the Florida Medical Association Alliance awards listed and described here.

The FMA Alliance Awards Committee, in accordance with House policy, will select recipients for the awards. The FMA Alliance will present all awards at the Annual Meeting, August 1 – August 3, 2008, at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort, in Orlando, Florida.

Nominations for awards MUST be submitted by County Medical Society Alliances no later than Friday, May 30, 2008. Nominees must be active members of the Florida Medical Association Alliance. Any nominations presented after the deadline will not be accepted.

Year-End Reports

County Medical Society Alliances are also requested to submit year-end reports for the 2008 Florida Medical Association Alliance House of Delegates Handbook. Year-end reports are due no later than Friday, May 30, 2008.
